Confucius Institute - UP Diliman warmly celebrated the Chinese New Year or the Spring Festival 2020 at the SM Aura, Bonifacio Global City on January 25.
Dr. Lourdes M. Tanhueco-Nepomuceno, presented her paper entitled "Intergenerational Language Usage Among Filipino-Chinese Youth in Pampanga"
Artistic demonstrations on lantern and woodblock printing, calligraphy, paper cutting, tea art and Peking opera mask painting; traditional Chinese medicine lectures; extensive photo exhibit; and spectacular cultural performances, among many others, filled the successful three-day Mid-Autumn Festival 2019 celebration of Confucius Institute at the University of the Philippines-Diliman (CIUPD).
The Confucius Institute at the University of the Philippines (CI-UP) joined forces with the UP Chinese Students Association (UPCSA) for a 3-day cultural programs that brought partner institutions together which have been benefiting from our Chinese-language teachers: the Bureau of Immigration, Department of Foreign Affairs-Foreign Service Institute, University of Makati, Mabalacat City College, and City College of Angeles (CCA).
The second treat for today is one I got last Tuesday when the UP Diliman Confucius Institute teamed up with the UP Chinese Students Association for a cultural program that brought partner institutions which have been benefiting from our Chinese-language teachers: the Bureau of Immigration, Foreign Service Institute, University of Makati, Mabalacat City College, and City College of Angeles (CCA).
